Description
A familiar place, wherever you stay.
The Maxi-Cosi Calao Light is a lightweight travel crib for family visits and trips away. It offers two levels: a bassinet for early infancy, followed by a lower crib level that can also be used as a supervised playard. The Canadian version allows sleep in bassinet and crib modes when all manual requirements are followed.
At a glance
- 2 levels: bassinet, then crib/playard
- 13.4 lb: approximately 6.1 kg
- Included: mattress and travel bag
Two levels with different limits.
The bassinet level keeps your newborn within easy reach. Stop bassinet use when your baby can roll over or reaches 6.8 kg (15 lb), whichever comes first. Remove the bassinet completely before using the lower crib or playard level. Stop those modes when your child can climb out or is taller than 90 cm.
Pack it for travel, set it up for your stay.
Calao folds compactly into its included travel bag. Four mesh sides keep your child visible. The zippered side panel provides access while you are with your child; it must be fully closed, with its buckle locked and covered by the flap, whenever your child is in the product.
Mattress and care
Use only the supplied mattress, correctly assembled and secured for the selected mode. Bassinet mode requires side A of the mattress: do not fold it or use side B. Never add a mattress, cushion or extra padding. Surface clean the crib, bassinet and mattress; only the travel bag is machine washable in cold water on a delicate cycle.
