The Maxi-Cosi Calao Light travel crib makes visits and overnight stays easier to plan. Its two levels provide a bassinet for the early months, followed by a lower crib/playard level. The Canadian model permits sleep in bassinet and crib modes when all instructions are followed.

Two levels, with different limits
Stop using the bassinet when your baby can roll over or reaches 15 lb (6.8 kg), whichever comes first. Remove the bassinet completely before using the lower level. Stop using the crib or playard if your child can climb out or is taller than 90 cm.
Pack it away, set it up again
The compact fold and included bag make the Calao practical for family visits. Mesh sides keep your child in view. The zippered side panel must be fully closed, with its attachment secured and covered by the flap, whenever the child is inside.

Can the Calao be used for sleep?
Yes, the Canadian instructions permit sleep in bassinet and crib modes with the supplied mattress and correct setup. Playard use requires supervision.
Can I add a thicker mattress?
No. Use only the supplied mattress, assembled and secured for the selected mode. Do not add padding, pillows or another mattress.
Which mattress side is used in bassinet mode?
The Canadian instructions require side A. Do not fold the mattress or use side B in bassinet mode.
Are sheets included?
No. The fitted Swift/Calao sheets are sold separately; choose the set intended for the mode you are using.
